This project took a heck of a lot longer than I thought. What I imagined to be a summer job took almost a year... chair by chair.. back and forth and then the table. I did enjoy painting them though.. learned some too.
This restuarant is closing, and who knows if the next owner will keep the mural. As I was walking by the other day, I decided to take a few pictures. This is the wall of the building on the deck for out door dining... oh well, things change.

this is still the unfinshed painting but it is after a trip to Peru (machu picchu on the left) and the future visit to Lake Titicaca on the right. Yes, although I like to be grounded, I do need to take flight at times...........
Played around with using texture in the background.
Feather's have been an ongoing theme for awhile with me. It started with the dream of a yellow and black bird.

I changed the brown tip of the stool because it was too "heavy" and made it like the tips of the desk.

The skinny strip along side the cabinet is waiting for hanging garlic....
work was done at home, positioning where the plug would go with the green tape.
I've been working on this desk for awhile. Coming to gether bit by bit.
